Tablescape Season

Welcome to Tablescape Season! I am all about gathering friends and family around a beautifully set table, but I always try to change for the seasons without having to purchase more plates or servingware. Inevitably though, I feel like every season change I always add or update juuuuust a few things to keep it fresh and fun. I thought it would be fun to share some of the inspiration I’ve been finding and some ways to add pieces to what you may already have to incorporate some of these aesthetics into your own home.

First up, these three images are from a bed and breakfast in Tuscany that absolutely takes my breath away.

Here’s how you can get the look:

Rustic Cutting Boards

Antique Style Silverware

Italian Style Carafes

Linen Table Runner

Mix up Ceramic Plates and Glass Plates

Forage For:

Pine Cones

Interesting Shaped Greens from the Yard

Next up, from The Ruffled Blog is a tablescape which includes books so naturally I am obsessed with it. What a fun and clever way to add a little bit of vintage whimsy. That with the cut crystal, antique candlesticks and the leggy florals makes it perfection.

A fun fact about getting this type of look in your floral arrangements: Ikebana is the art of beautifully arranging cut stems, leaves, and flowers in vases and other containers that evolved in Japan over seven centuries. A dear friend of mine bought me a vase for my birthday that is specially meant for this type of arrangement and I’ve been in love ever since.

I hope you have fun reinventing your holiday table this year with pieces you already own, from pilfering the garden (or Trader Joes! They always have best fill in greenery), and with a few new pieces to mix in. This post is not sponsored, just some things I love and own or want to own, but I may make a small commission if you purchase what I’ve shared.
