Tank Hill Park - San Francisco romantic
My husband, being the romantic and sweet man that he is, surprised me on our trip last weekend to San Francisco by taking me to a spot that took my breath away. I have absolutely no idea how he found it - it's in the middle of a residential area smack in the middle of the city, and it literally feels like you're on top of the world. It's tiny and romantic and windy (super dooper windy) and I loved it. There were only a few other people there, picnicking like us, or reading a book, or writing, or cuddling on blankets. It's one of those places a non-local would never find and I love that. I love being in a new place and immersing myself and imaging what it would be like to live there. You can see everything from the Bay to the Ocean in a complete panorama. If you find yourself in San Francisco, it's near the corners of Clayton Street and Twin Peaks Boulevard. Bring good shoes to walk up the hill and a jacket to stay warm in the wind!
