A Winter Wonderland to ring in the New Year

What better way to reflect on this past year and mediate on the fresh new one right around the corner than with a twinkling winter wonderland?

My list to create such a place? Simple.

Twinkle light trees. I chose these birch ones from Restoration Hardware. I made sure to pick a few different sizes to group them at varying heights. (I try and always use the rule of three when arranging anything)

Flickering Candles. Whoever invented these wax, battery operated (with a remote!!) candles that look and feel and flicker like real candles in a genius. So safe and so easy.

To keep it looking icy and wintery gold, I chose clear glass and mercury glass candlesticks from Pottery Barn, and mixed in some silvery votive holders.

The tree is all silver and gold and white. My favorite part is the topper... glass and metal. So pretty and delicate.

By keeping it simple it created a quiet place of reflection... a cozy warm, but wintery space to spend time with my family!

Happy Holidays!
